Hector Carrasquillo Biography

Rev. Dr. Hector A. Carrasquillo Morales is a Lutheran pastor committed to social causes, community service, and the development of leaders. As a professor at Brooklyn College, CUNY (City University of New York), Dr. Carrasquillo Morales has combined his faith with academia to develop initiatives focused on human development.

Dr. Carrasquillo Morales firmly believes in empowering young people, families, and the community so they feel included and motivated.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico, two master’s degrees (Counseling, Long Island University; M.Div., Union Theological Seminary), and a doctorate in human development from Syracuse University.
